I got this site, ummm, I can’t remember how long ago. I got the idea for the name of the site from one of my mentors at work (now retired), who wrote the following book.

The words “don’t work forever” just stuck with me… it nagged at me because I was (is?) a workaholic… and I wanted a diversion.

So, I thought I’d get a website going. But I really had no idea what I’d do with it, what I’d write about, etc. … and I still have no idea!

I found myself enjoying tinkering as a webmaster … learning to work with WordPress … figuring out how to put up a slideshow of pics … setting up ads

On a side note, if you buy from Amazon, mind buying thru this site? You pay the same amount. Try it out. Just click on “Go Shopping” at the top of the page.

And also do a search through the Google-powered search engine on this site (at the top, right side).

These are just little experiments I’m doing thru this site.

So much for an “about this site” page, huh? Really, all this is, is for me to share random thoughts… on things that distract me… as life happens. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you visit again (say, whose b-day is coming up? time to buy a gift from Amazon , right?).
